(so good for any download/streaming speed)!!!!!
These are crude examples, but enough to see what one can do nowadays

NOTE: These run in Firefox ONLY, since these great easy programs are
html5 dependent. (But they may well run in Safari and may run in IE9.)
Running a local movie: (NOTE: videos must be converted to oggs, and
to both mp4 and ogg, the native video tag then providing both options):
(Simply View --> Page Source for all you need to make your own.)
P.S. It also works for pure audio (i.e. audio with no video).
View --> Page Source to see how to do it:
Thus you can control page content and changes via sec of
audio run too (in html5 -- now only in Firefox and some others, not IE,
until IE9 anyway).
AND: here is the same template, but now running a REMOTE video:
[There is free ogg converting software out there to make your videos
oggs. See http://firefogg.org and http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ . And,
for other conversion see: http://handbrake.fr Better than the Firefox addon:
I recommend: the Miro Video Converter (free) and I recommend the Free
Mp3 Wma Ogg Converter]
Another html5 app:
